Mr. C.J. Martin, 72 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020, 12 Noon CST at New Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Camp Hill, AL, Rev. Justin Freeman, Pastor; Officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in LaFayette, AL.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife, Gracie Foreman Martin, LaFayette, AL, a faithful daughter, Valerie (Earnest) Scott of Camp Hill, AL, his caring sons, Craigory (Shaneika) Martin of Lanett, AL, Darrin (Tyquetta) Martin of Opelika, AL, Travis Martin of LaFayette, AL and Jarvis Bailey of Atlanta, GA, fifteen grandchildren that called him “Granddaddy”: Jatarvious, Carnikka, Jazmaine, Damontae, Tydareius, Quandarion, Ja’Kalen, Jamarious, Jaquantinez, Matrice, Shaquita, Justin, Ashli, Kahleel and Octavis; ten great-grandchildren that called him “Paw-Paw”: Tyrence, Kingston, Jeremiah, Journee, Jermani, Jenesis, Judah, Adaiden, Hayden and Brooke; four loving sisters: Minnie Reeder of Dadeville, AL, Betty Moss of Alexander City, AL, Bessie Golatte and Martha Sims, both of Camp Hill, AL, an aunt, Minnie B. Finley of Camp Hill, AL, an uncle, Otis Drake of Camp Hill, AL, two brothers-in-law, Dave Foreman of Opelika, AL and Jean (Joann) Foreman of LaFayette, AL, a sister-in-law, Linda (Walter) Darden of West Point, GA, a special longtime friend who was like a brother, Calvin Vines of Dadeville, AL, a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
