Mr. Julius Banks, 73 passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019, 1:00 p.m. CST at Pine Grove United Methodist Church in LaFayette, AL Pastor Cecelia Broome; Officiating; Reverend George McCulloh, Eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife, Charlie Mae Fitzpatrick Banks of Opelika, AL, a stepson, Harold Fitzpatrick of Opelika, AL, two sisters, Ruby Askew of Roanoke, AL, and Maxine Perry of Cleveland, OH, two cousins who were like sisters, Mary Jo Meadows and Minnie B. Williams, both of LaFayette, AL, nieces: Vanessa Askew of Roanoke, AL, Lasha Holloway of Lanett, AL, Linda Childs of Valley, AL, Christy Banks and Mattie Banks, both of Lanett, AL, nephews, Ronald Banks and Andre Banks, both of Roanoke, AL and Joey Finley of Lanett, AL,  two sister-in-laws, Minnie Pearl Harris and Fannie L. Nelms, one brother-in-law, Clarence Harris, all of Opelika, AL a host of many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
