Mr. Ocie Lee Pitts “Pookey”, 72 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Roanoke Healthcare Center in Roanoke, AL.
 
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019, 11:00 a.m. CST at Chosen Generation Worship Center in LaFayette, AL, Apostle Willie Eva Hicks, Pastor, Eulogist; Rev. Derrick Vines, Officiating. Burial will follow in Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette, AL.
 
 Mr. Pitts is survived by his life long companion, Carrie Jones, three sons: Otis Pitts (April) of Roanoke, AL, Tony Pitts and Anthony Pitts (Valerie), both of Miami, FL, two brothers, Willie C. Pitts (Shirley) of Miami, FL and James Pitts of Roanoke, AL, four sisters: Helen Pitts, Annie Burton and Sara Lee Pitts, all of LaFayette, AL, and Dorothy Vines (Ronald) of Auburn, AL, twenty-eight grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
