Mrs. Mary Alice James

Mrs. Mary Alice James 69, of LaFayette, AL passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, 2:00 p.m. CST at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Michael Stiggers, Sr., Pastor/Officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Baptist Church No. 2 Cemetery in LaFayette, AL.

Mrs. James is survived by two sons, Michael (Gloria) Wright of Camp Hill, AL and Andrew James, Jr. (Pam) of Auburn, AL, two daughters, Alicia James (Stanley) and Gwen James (Jimmy), both of  Lafayette, AL,  a special son who was like her own, Marcus Sims (Tiffani) of Montgomery, AL, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two brothers, Willie Wright of Lafayette, AL and Bill Wright of Birmingham, AL, one brother-in-law, George James (Maggie) of Five Points, AL and two sisters-in-Laws, Mae Thelma (Jimmy) McCoy of Lafayette, AL and Lue Nell (Lovell) Staples of Atlanta, GA,  a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly and raised and treated just like her own, special niece, Flora Harrington.
