Mrs. Nina Mae Hardnett, 70 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019, 1:00 p.m. CST at Christian Memorial Church in Roanoke, AL, Rev. Burnett J. Jackson, Pastor; Rev. Thomas Staples, Officiating; Apostle Earnest Parham, Eulogist. Burial will follow in Sky View Memorial Gardens in Five Points, AL.
Mrs. Hardnett is survived by her husband, Vernel “Vernon” Hardnett of LaFayette, AL, five sons: Cleveland Jr. Staples of LaFayette, AL, Richard Staples (Annie) of Opelika, AL, Dwight Staples (Ann) of Alexander City, AL, Vernon Jr. Hardnett(Tara) of LaFayette, AL and Dewayne Hardnett(Conny) of Wedowee, AL, six daughters: Theresa Pridgon(William) of Opelika, AL, Cindy Heard and Shonda Reid(Harold), both of Roanoke, AL, Shirley Tucker(Robert) of LaGrange, GA, Prescilla Hardnett of Opelika, AL and Janice Hardnett of LaGrange, GA, one brother, Joe Lewis McPherson(Katie) of Fayetteville, NC, three sisters, Charlotte Parker of Wedowee, AL, Minnie Bell(Rev. Brady) of Roanoke, AL and Linda Jackson(John) of LaFayette, AL, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, three aunts, Leeanna Sheppherd and Rosetta Cox, both of LaGrange, GA, and Christine Cameron, four sisters-in-law, Pauline Brown of Jamaica, NY, Moline Rowe of Wadley, AL, Mable N'Kanta of Roanoke, AL and Gladys Staples of Lineville, AL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
