Mrs. Vera V. Drake, 73 of Atlanta, GA formerly of Roanoke, AL passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Pruitt Nursing Home in Atlanta, GA.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, February 23, 2019, 12 Noon CST at Deliverance Temple Church in Roanoke, AL, Rev. Michael Goss, Pastor, Rev. J. Barnes, Eulogist, Rev. Calvin Trammell, Officiating. Burial will follow in Sky View Memorial Gardens in Five Points, AL.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a son, Steven Winston (Shelly Forte) of Atlanta, GA, seven grandchildren: Ashley Bailey, Joshua Tucker, Skye Forte, Simoya Winston, Kashton Winston, Leilani Thomas and Rodderic Green, two great-grandchildren,  two sisters, Mrs. Mary Sue Collins of Roanoke, AL and Mrs. Mattie (Eddie) Wilson of East Point, GA, four brothers: Mr. James (Lonnie Mae) Tucker, Mr. Eddie (Lelea May) Tucker, Mr. Jimmy Larry Tucker and Mr. Oliver Tucker, all of Chattanooga, TN, two very special nieces, Miss Ayanna A. Bandoh and Mrs. Beverly Bandoh of East Point, GA, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the many friends and Health Care Providers at Pruitt Health Care West in Atlanta, GA.
