Deacon Anthony D. Davis, 61 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.
Mr. Davis will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM CST at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Pastor Michael T. Stiggers, Officiating.
Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Cemetery in LaFayette.
Mr. Davis leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife, Sharon Woods Davis, mother, Mrs. Pearlean D. McLean of Raleigh, NC, stepdaughters, Stephanie Bumbalough (Jacob) of Monterey, TN, and Sherry Nwand of LaFayette, AL, granddaughter, Madalynn Bumbalough of Monterey, TN, brother, Stanley Davis (Shelia) of Raleigh, NC, special brother, Argo Matthews (Dianne) of Clayton, NC, nephew, Johnathan Davis of Raleigh, NC, niece, Chrystall Davis of Raleigh, NC, mother-in-law, Hazel Woods, special aunts, Minnie C. Holloway of Lanett, AL, Gloria Woods Hines of Cantonment, FL, two great nieces, Jennifer and Jasmine Davis of Raleigh, NC, Anthony also leaves a host of cousins and friends.
