Deacon Roy Tinsley, 78 of Camp Hill, AL passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024.

Public Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Deacon Tinsley will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, 2:30 p.m. CST at New Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Camp Hill, AL, Rev. Justin Freeman, Pastor / Officiant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Deacon Tinsley leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Gloria Tinsley, son, Arthur Tinsley (Roxanne) of Camp Hill, AL, daughter, Tivia Tinsley (Demarquis) of Camp Hill, AL, grandchildren, Timothy Tinsley of Camp Hill, AL and Timarian Tinsley of Camp Hill, AL, one great-grandson, Timothy Isaiah Tinsley Jr., one great-granddaughter, Ariya Lindsay, sisters, Beatrice Adams (James) of Oxnard, California, Ethel David of Camp Hill, AL, sisters-in-law: Annie Tinsley of Camp Hill, AL, Jessica Griffin of Dadeville, AL, Mary Ann Fountain (Charles) of Atlanta, Georgia; brother-in-law, Benjamin Dumas of Auburn, AL, special bonus kids: Kenzie and Kadyn Mosby, LaShantiss, Katelyn and Kaleb Harris, Nisir Avery and Harmony Harris, god sons: Montaski McCoy of Montgomery, AL, Monte Maddox of Montgomery, AL; and Brandon Morgan of Atlanta, Georgia, a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends who affectionately called me Pop.
