Ms. Mary Liza Bledsoe, 92 of Opelika, AL passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Bethany House in Auburn, AL.

Public Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Ms. Bledsoe will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, 12:00 p.m. CST at Whitehall Missionary Baptist Church in LaFayette, Rev. Ed Vines, Pastor, Rev. Terrance Holloway, Officiating, Apostle Bruce Gunn, Eulogist.

Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Cemetery in LaFayette.

Ms. Bledsoe leaves precious memories to be cherished by her sister, Carey Bledsoe Hall, a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, her niece and caregiver, Stephanie Hall, special cousin Benzia Jackson, special friends, Renae Broughton, Darlene White, Lilly Copeland, Martha Harper, and Ethel Burton, her extended family and friends all of whom will deeply miss her gentle spirit.
