Mr. Charles Lee Holloway, 81 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.
Mr. Holloway will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, 12:00 p.m. CST at Chosen Generation Worship Center in LaFayette, AL, Apostle Willie Eva Hicks | Pastor, Rev. Douglas Jones, | Officiating.
Mr. Holloway leaves cherished memories with his children, Mrs. Sada B. Story (Willie) of LaFayette, AL and Preston Lee (Joyce) Carr of Valley, AL, seven step-children: Loretta (Emerson, III) Thomas of Opelika, AL, Carol (Ronny) Berry of Clarksville, TN, Charles Gipson, Sr., Lynda Leverette, and Atherlene (Joe) Carr, all of LaFayette, AL, Cynthia (Michael) Tinker of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Rosalyn Trammell of Charlotte, NC, six grandchildren: Victoria Harris of Alex City, AL, Jasmine Woody and Fabian Story both of LaFayette, AL, Trenes Vines of Opelika, AL, LaZaria Carr and NeKoshia Reed, both of Valley, AL, seven great-grandchildren: Keyonce Burton, Jadarian Holloway, Kinley Moody, Jenesis Woody, Zayden Brooks, Antravious Williams and JaQuavious Reed, sisters: Ruby H. Carr, Katie R. Carey, Sherry Holloway, Ruby J. Walker, Shirlean Vines, Louraine H. Howard, Mary Young, Ada Brewer and Linda H. Abner, brothers: Edward Wright, Robert Holloway, Ocie Holloway, William Holloway, Jerry Holloway, Willie Holloway, Tommy Holloway and Bobby Vines, special niece and caregiver, Tasha (Dondrell) Harris of Roanoke, AL, special friend, William Alf Ballard, a host of relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
