Mr. Charles E. Story, 63 of Lanett, AL passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Mr. Story will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024, 1:00 P.M. CST at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Michael Stiggers, Pastor, Rev. Eddie L. Story, Officiating / Eulogist. 

Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Cemetery in LaFayette.

Mr. Story leaves cherished memories with his wife, Kimberly Carlisle Story, three children, Caroline (Tremayne) Childs of Cusseta, AL, India and Roberto Carlisle, both of Lanett, AL, his siblings: three sisters, Marian Story of LaFayette, AL, Wanda Story of Valley, AL, and Melissa Story of Lanett, AL, three brothers, Carl Story of Atlanta, GA, Rev. Eddie L. (Deborah) Story of LaGrange, GA, and Clifford (Linda) Jackson of LaFayette, AL, other siblings, Mary Joe Gunn, Lisa Gaines, and Billy Gaines, three grandchildren, KanijaWalker, JaKelvius Sharpe, and Brenicia Walker, of LaFayette, AL, four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
