Mr. Charlie Joe Burdette, 72 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026.

Mr. Burdette will lie in repose in the chapel one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, 11:00 AM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, Pastor Charlie Burdette, Officiating.

Mr. Burdette is survived by his children, Charlie Burdette of Roanoke, Alabama, Michael Burdette (Latricia) and Tara Burdette Staples (Reginald), both of LaFayette, Alabama, his grandchildren; Marakus Brooks, Shakira Burdette, Kirstin Burdette, Makiya Burdette, Lakendra Staples, Miya Burdette, great-grandchildren: Malayia Brooks and six others, sister-in-law, Mary Joyce Burdette, special niece, Elaine Drake (Kerry), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
