Mr. Charlie Lewis Hill, 79 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023.

Public Visitation will be Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2023, 2:00 PM CST at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Pastor Michael Stiggers, Officiating. Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Cemetery in LaFayette.

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife, Josie Ann Hill, his daughters, Melba J. Hill of New York, Dorothy L. Hill (Terry Moore) of Rochester, NY, and Pebble L. Hill of LaFayette, AL, his sons, Dewayne Hill of LaFayette, AL, and Marshall Linson (Nichole Lyons) of Lagrange, GA, his sisters, Era Averhart of Birmingham, AL, Mildred Witherspoon of Bessemer, AL, Deborah Forte of Birmingham, AL, Cynthia Hogan of Birmingham, AL and Stephanie Armstrong of Bessemer, AL, eleven grandchildren: Corderro Briskey, Quana Ray, Quinesha Ray, Latoya Ray, Kadeshia Hill, Tanyka Huguley, Quinton Hill, Jr., and Lakiyah McFarlin, all of LaFayette, AL, LaToya Canty, Tierra Moore, and Jada Moore, all of Rochester, NY, five great-grandchildren, Azaevonna Mitchell, Kendious Miles, Journee Woody, Jordan Morgan, and Jy’mir Mitchell, all of LaFayette, AL, daughter-in-law, Stacie Hill, one brother-in-law, Willie Henry Story, four sisters-in-law, Chinese Carter of Atlanta, GA, Cotter James, Willie Eva Heard, and Shirley Jeans Barnes, all of LaFayette, AL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
