Mr. Corien Milton Buchanan, 43 of Daviston, AL passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024.

Public Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, 12:00 p.m. CST at Cagar Hill C.M.E. Church Cemetery in Daviston, AL, Rev. Michael Perry, Pastor, Rev. Douglas Jones, Sr., Officiating.

Mr. Buchanan leaves to cherish his memories two children, his son, D’Jerial Cardwell (D.J.)  of Alexander City, AL and his daughter, Destiny M. Buchanan of Daviston, AL, his mother, Edith Buchanan of Daviston, AL, four siblings: two sisters, Joyce Heard (Willie) of Alexander City, AL and Jessica Buchanan-Burton (Travis) of Daviston, AL, two brothers, SFC Steven Buchanan (Crystal) of Watertown, NY and Jasper Buchanan of Salem, AL, stepfather, Mark Rowe of Wadley, AL, uncles: Joe Buchanan of Birmingham, AL, Roy Meadows (Georgia) of Hanesville, AL, Claude Meadows (Gail) of Goodwater, AL, and Wilson Meadows (Val) of Woodland, AL, aunts: Ruby Ernest  of Birmingham, AL, Mary Staples of Wadley, AL, Mattie Staples of Wadley, AL, Alice Lewis of Daviston, AL, Yvonnie O’Neal of Daviston, AL, Irish Chisom of Wadley, AL, Bessie Baggett of Roanoke, AL, and Doris Meadows of Daviston, AL, great-aunts: Naomi Slaughter, Mary Buchanan, and Evarn Presley, all of Daviston, AL, as brothers: James Buchanan, Matthew Patterson, Derrick Spratlin, and Derrell Slaughter, special friends: Joey O’Neal, Paul and Nikkie Wilkes, Frankie Joe Staples, Dennis Bledsoe, Dennis Buchanan, and Paula Russell, also, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, who loved him dearly.
