Mr. Daniel “Boone” Walton, 81 of Lafayette, AL passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 at  East Alabama Medical Center, Lanier in Valley, Alabama.

Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 1:00 PM CST until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel, Lafayette, AL.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, 11:00 AM CST at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Lafayette, Alabama. Pastor Gary L. Dixon, Eulogist. Pastor Melvin Owens, Officiating.

Interment will follow in Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery.

His precious memories will be cherished by: four children, Keith (Lucy) Walton of Lafayette, Alabama, Quentin (Reese) Walton of Covington, Georgia, April Walton of Lafayette, Alabama, and Christy (Alton) Walton – Avery of Valley, Alabama; ten grandchildren, Kendall, Brandon, Jamarcus, Danielle, Ke’Andrae, Malik, Cameron, Journey, QJ, and Kaydence; three great grandchildren, Olivia, Journee, and Aubree; one sister, Mary Ann Vines of Opelika, Alabama; good friends, Woodrow Thomas and Michael Holloway; cousins more like brothers, Felton (Gregorylyn) Morgan and Alfred Walton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
