Graveside Services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020, 2:00 p.m. CST at New Mt. Sellers Baptist Church Cemetery in LaFayette, AL, Pastor Terry L. Magby, Sr.; Officiating.

Desmond leaves to cherish his memories to his loving parents, Desmond Brooks, Sr. and Shaneka Thomas of LaFayette, AL, his sisters: Aaliyah Brooks, Alicia Brooks and Alivia Brooks, all of LaFayette, AL, his grandparents: Sanders (Barbara Jean) Brooks of LaFayette, AL, Mary Lee Thomas (Tommie Milton) of LaFayette, AL and Ashley Todd (Wendy) of LaFayette, AL, his aunts: Beverly and Shalonda Thomas and Rebecca Lockhart, of LaFayette, AL, his uncles: Kevin Brooks, Tracy Brooks, Sanders Lewis, Chris Thomas and Derrick Thomas, all of LaFayette, AL, special cousin: Keyuntae Thomas, special best friends, Julius Bullard, Jr., Jamarious Daniels, Feliah Greer, Tee Woody, Drek Billingslea, special friend, Ka’Miyah Michelle Wilkerson and MaKyli Porter, he leaves behind a lot of caring classmates, Class of 2021, and a host of other cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.
