Mr. Edward Dwayne Dawson, 53 of Lanett, AL passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024.

Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 8,2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Mr. Dawson will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, 12:00 p.m. EST at New Dimensions Worship Center in Valley, AL, Bishop Donald Lancaster, Pastor / Officiant.

Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Lanett, AL.

Mr. Dawson is survived his son, Liedmund Dawson of Valley, AL, his father, Elmer Booker of Lanett, AL, his brothers, Jerome Dawson of Lanett, AL, Tommy (Veronica) Dawson of Lanett, AL, Carey (Regina) Dawson of Valley, AL, and Richard Dawson of Lanett, AL, his sisters, Catherine (Milford) Andrews of Jackson, NJ, Lakita (William) Floyd of Atlanta, GA, and Ruby (Leon) Hodnett of Lanett, AL, sister-in-law, Barbara Ann Dunn of Valley, AL, special cousins, Roosevelt Gibson of Lanett, AL, Christine Harris of Lanett, AL, and Jimmie Sue Scott of Lanett, AL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
