Mr. Edward Turner

Mr. Edward Turner, 71 of Valley, AL passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Turner will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, 12:00 p.m. CST at Friendship Baptist Church No. 2 in LaFayette, AL, Reverend Curtis Spidell, Pastor | Officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Turner leaves to cherish his loving memories through his wife, Gloria Turner, step-daughter, Angelia (Tyrickus) Ashford of Huntsville, AL, step-son, Cedric M. Billingslea of Valley, AL, nephew, Don Amechee (Deborah) Turner of LaFayette, AL, two great nephews, Wynton Darneil (Annquanetta) Turner  of Opelika, AL, and Omar Donovan Turner of Montgomery, AL, two sisters-in-law, Priscilla (Michael Winters of McDonough, GA, and Debra Ward of Opelika, AL, two grandchildren, Xander Ashford and Cedrick F. Billingslea, two great-great nephews, Mayson Davis Turner and Aydon Darneil Turner, great-great niece, Amora Diamond Turner, special cousins considered as sisters, Wanda Rea of Atlanta, GA, Pauline Rea of Birmingham, AL, and Juanita Persons of LaGrange, GA, along with a host of family and friends.
