Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021, 1:00 p.m. CST at Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Cornelius Reese, Jr., Officiating

Surviving Children: two sons, Ricky Rea of East Point, GA, Everett Alonzo Rea of Belleville, IL, three daughters, Melissa (Arthur) Everett of Buffalo, NY, Christie and Shanice Goffer both of LaFayette, AL and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving Siblings: Ethel Heard of LaFayette, AL; Mahlard Boyd, Jr., of LaFayette, AL, Rosa H. Nelson of Atlanta, GA and Odessa Merriweather of Sharpsburg, GA, Willie E. (Shirley) Boyd of Canton OH, Benjamin (Lillie A.) Hakim of Canton, OH and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
