Mr. Goerge Willie Pollard, Sr, 83 of LaFayette, AL passed away on November 27, 2024.

Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, 11:00 a.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Mr. Pollard is survived by his children: Christine (Jasper) Thomas of Opelika, AL, Randy Louis Pollard of New Zealand, Jerome Pollard and George Willie Pollard, Jr. both of Opelika, AL, and Katrina Ashford of Lanett, AL, his siblings: Georgia Pollard, John (Betty) Pollard, Roy (Liz) Pollard, Mary (Steve) Madden, Betty (Sylvester) Pollard, all of Opelika, AL, Yvonne (Donald) Carr of Loachapoka, AL, Andy (Shirley) Pollard of Lanett, AL, Albert Eiland and Dover Palmer of Opelika, AL, Martha (James) Madden of LaGrange, GA, Ardine Childs of Auburn, AL, and Clarenea Thomas of Beauregard, AL, a special aunt, Johnnie Mae Pollard of Opelika, AL, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends.
