Mr. Haywood Woody, Jr. 75 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Mr. Woody will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, 11:00 AM CST at County Line Missionary Baptist Church in Wadley, AL, Reverend Ricky Cofield, Pastor | Officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Haywood ‘DUCK’  Woody Jr. leaves to cherish his memories and celebrate his life to his one daughter, Theresa Battle and granddaughter, Aylessa Battle of Wadley AL; brothers, Jimmy Woody (Judy Kate Phillips) of Penton AL, James Whitlow and Johnathan Whitlow of Lafayette, AL; sisters,  Clara Carr (James Avery) of Wadley, AL, Annie Woody, Gwen Wright and Jerrika Woody of Milltown, AL, Janice Hunter, Mattie Whitlow, Pearlie Walker, Kelly Whitlow and Maxine Whitlow, all of Lafayette, AL one uncle, Marvin  Daniel (Ruby Jean) of Valley, AL and; six sisters-in-law, Jackie Woody of Valley, AL, Ophelia Lewis, Carolyn Drake, Mollie Banks, Yvonnia White and Lois Hunter of Wadley, AL; special kids, Sandy Woody, Cathy (Kendall) Booker and Candie Woody; special grandkids, TaKoya (Mike) Johnson and Kennitra Booker; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
