Mr. Herbert Leverette, 77 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at his home.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, 12:00 pm CST at Greater Pine Hill Baptist Church in LaFayette (Penton Community), AL, Pastor Rodney Thomas, Officiating.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife of fifty- five years, Judy Leverette; three children; Juanita (Thomas) Robinson of Atlanta, GA, Herbert (Bernadette) Leverette of Montgomery, AL, and Renee Leverette of Charlotte, NC, four sisters: Julia Trophey of Pensacola, FL, Queen McCoy, Gwendolyn Harris, and Harriet Tibbs, all of LaFayette, AL, four grandchildren: Jacquetta Robinson, Thomas Robinson Jr., Desiree Leverette, and Trovontez Butler, five great-grandchildren: Valencia McCowey, Olivia McCowey, Bethany Robinson, Malcolm Templeton, and Karsen Butler, special nephews: Montorious Leverette, James Ross, Jaiden Lacey, Michael Ross and Bryant Ross, special nieces, Felecia Leverette-Davis and LouKisha Leverette, special daughter in love, Dedra Hendricks, special friends: Sam Copeland, Richard Mackey, and Gerald Allen, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
