Mr. James Wayne McCoy, 71 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, 11:00 AM CST at Friendship Baptist Church No. 1 in LaFayette, AL, Reverend Cornelius Reese, Jr., Pastor.

Mr. McCoy leaves cherished memories with his daughter, Ashley Spidell of Wedowee, AL, bonus son, Dontae Bledsoe of LaFayette, AL, grandchildren: Trinity, Teigan, Tissaia and Nolan, sisters: Jackie Horton (Billy) of Gadsden, AL, Virginia Wright, Joann Mitchell (Sam), and Louise Moss, all of LaFayette, AL, Julia Walker and Juanita Flournoy, of Lanett, AL, Geardine King of Melbourne, FL, and Theresa Banks of LaGrange, GA, brothers: Steve (Stacy) Avery of Wadley, AL, James (Clara) Avery and Johnny Avery, both of LaFayette, AL, sisters-in-law, Janice McCoy of Roanoke, AL, and Queen McCoy of LaFayette, AL, special nephew and caretakers, Reginald (Tara) Staples, LaKendra Staples and Marakus Brooks, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
