Mr. Jeffers McGuire, 64 of Newnan, GA; formerly of Roanoke, AL passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Mr. McGuire will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral services.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, 12:00 PM CST at Christian Memorial Church in Roanoke, AL, Elder Leidra Dunson, Eulogist, Reverend Calvin Trammell, Officiating.

Burial will follow in Sweet Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Five Points, AL.

Mr. McGuire leaves to cherish his memories his son, Mario Henderson of Roanoke, AL, sisters, Phyllis McGuire and Vickie Combs (L.C) both of Roanoke, AL; brother, Jefferson Nolan (Judy) of Birmingham, AL; stepdaughter, Tevia Holliday of Atlanta, GA; a grandson, Tavion Harthorne of Kileen, TX, three granddaughters, Maia Henderson of College Park, GA, Ava Henderson and Zekeela Baker, both of Roanoke, AL, aunts, Annie Pearl Heard of Dayton, OH and Lillie Taylor of Cleveland, OH, special friends, Crystal Green and Chief Williams, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
