Mr. Joe C. Cofield, Jr., 52 of Atlanta, GA passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Public Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 11:00 am CST at Canaan Baptist Church in Roanoke (Welch Community), AL, Pastor Calvin Trammell, Officiating, Rev. Rodney K. Turner, Eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: his parents, Rev. Joe Cofield and Eula Dell Cofield; daughter, Brianna Sanders of Atlanta, GA; sons, Tarvish Wilder of Atlanta, GA, Joe Cofield III of Huntsville, AL, and Josiah Cofield of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Angelo Bernard Cofield of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Sheri Lovett (Howard) of Cleveland, Ohio and Kristi Cofield McGuire (Russell) whom he affectionately called “Lil Gurl” of Huntsville, AL; one grandchild, Dakhari Smith of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and loving friends.
