Mr. Johnnie L. "Sam" Dawson, 77 of Valley, AL passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Bethany House in Auburn, AL.

Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2021, 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. CST at Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021, 1:00 p.m. CST at Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Corey Huguley; Officiating.

Mr. Dawson leaves to cherish his memories to his children: Jeffrey Dawson, Sr. (Sherrondolyn) of West Point, GA, Tonda Dawson of West Point, GA, John Dawson of Lanett, AL, Cosammie Dawson of Lanett, AL, Mike Hutchinson of Valley, AL and Lorraine McCullough of Valley, AL, sisters: Katie Lou Milton of LaGrange, GA, Annette Towles of Lanett, AL and Veola Williams of Valley, AL, a companion, Janice Spidell,  a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
