Mr. Leroy Evans

Mr. Leroy Evans, 79 of Stockbridge, GA, formerly of Camp Hill, AL passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Mr. Evans will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, 1:00 p.m. CST at Mt. Lovely Baptist Church in Camp Hill, AL, Pastor Bernard Harris, Officiating, Reverend Samuel Evans, Eulogist.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Evans is survived by his wife of 40 years Ruth Sims-Evans; his children: Bentzell Evans of Birmingham, AL, Cynthia Flowers of Boston, MA, Theresa Owens (Kevin) of Columbus, OH, Cassandra &  Steven Sims of Knoxville, TN; brother, Nathaniel Evans of Stamford, CT; sisters, Joan Farrow (Samuel) of Stockbridge, GA and Jessie Evans of Camp hill, AL, favorite cousins, Danny Evans of Camp Hill, AL, Peggy and Toney Tinsley of Boston, MA; favorite brother-in-law, Samuel, Farrow of Boston, MA; grandchildren: Kevin, Troy, Malik, James, Javon, Kendrell, Kyrell, Luv, Tyrence; three great grandchildren, Kaliyah, Kamiah, and Adonis; nephews, George Jr., Michael, Mark, Terry, Alfrado, Corey, Wayne, and Brian; nieces: Kathy, Monica, Jessica, Lisha, and Robin, a host of cousins and friends.
