Mr. Leroy "Sonny" Moss, 66 of Auburn, AL passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at his home.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Mr. Moss will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, 12:00 p.m. CST at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Auburn, AL, Pastor Thomas Brown | Officiating.

Burial will follow in Mt. Zion East Baptist Church Cemetery in Dadeville, AL.

Mr. Moss leaves cherished memories with his loving wife, Sylvia Moss, his loving children: son, Torelanda (Tiffany) Menefield, Sr. of Loachapoka, AL, two daughters, Lashunda Menefield of Auburn, AL and Chalika (Zahir) Menefield of Atlanta, GA, sons, Kelvin Hill and Kendrick Hill, both of Auburn, AL, grandchildren: Zaria Lockhart, Shunteria Cooks, Alexius Morgan, Cameron Morgan, Torelanda Menefield, Jr., Kashanti Hill, Ka’mauri Hill, and Kelvin Hill, Jr., great-grandchildren: Jayden Straugh, Leilani and Tobias Menefield, and Milo Goods, a loving brother, John (Wyvonia) Moss, of LaFayette, AL, sister-in-law, Susie (Timothy) Brown of Auburn, AL, brothers-in-law, Joe M. Thompson of Camp Hill, AL, Henry Hill and Tony Hill, both of Auburn, AL, aunts: Evangelist Brenda (Michael) Maddox of Waverly, AL, Ella Varner of Waverly, AL, and Dora Finley of LaFayette, AL, uncles: Jessie Webb of Waverly, AL, JT (Joyce) Moss of Camp Hill, AL, Henry Sands of Jackson’s Gap, AL, special niece, Lawanda Shaw, nieces, Jasmine Williams, Shatoya Gollate, special nephew, Keon Golatte, Elander Moss, and Demetrice Hill, a host of cousins and friends.
