Mr. Marcus T. Pogue "Pookie"

Mr. Marcus T. Pogue, 35 of Roanoke, AL passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Public Visitation will be held Friday, April 1, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. CST until 6:00 p.m. CST, at Silmon Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Graveside Service will be Saturday, April 2, 2022, 1:00 p.m. CST, at Canaan Baptist Church in Roanoke, AL (Welch Community), Rev. Michael Goss, Officiating, Rev. Calvin Trammell, Eulogist.

Mr. Pogue will truly be missed, but never forgotten. His memories will forever be cherished by his children, Zy’Keriuna Pogue, Zy’Mircale Pogue, and Korbin Pogue all of Roanoke, Alabama; his parents, Michael and Priscilla Woods; brothers, Kelvin Appleby (Amber), Kerry Pogue, both of Roanoke, Alabama, and Mekeldric Shealy of LaFayette, Alabama; sister, Tameka Shealy (Stanley Caldwell) of LaFayette, Alabama; grandmother, Mary Liza Appleby of Roanoke, Alabama; aunts, Kimberly Goss and Samantha (Rondell) Burkes both of Roanoke, Alabama; uncles, Greg (Shavonica) Goss and Robert Appleby both of Roanoke, Alabama; special friends, Jayla Spratling, Johnny Houston, Mario Drummonds, and Detae Heard; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
