Mr. Nathan Brooks, 63 of Lafayette, AL passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 1:00 PM CST until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel, Lafayette, AL.
Mr. Brooks will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, 12:00PM CST at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, Lafayette, AL. Reverend Truely Finley Pastor. Bishop Elaine Harper, Officiating. Reverend Gregory Sutton, Eulogist
Interment will follow funeral service in church cemetery.
His smiling face and loving ways will be greatly missed by his daughter, Zailyn Brooks; three brothers, Roger (Vanessa) Presley and Evangio (Mae) Presley both of Opelika, AL, Lindsay Brooks of Waverly, AL; four sisters, Mattie B. Echols of Camp Hill, AL, Ruby Huguley of Lafayette, AL, Virginia Stevenson of Lanett, AL, and Nanette Ware of Cusseta, AL; three aunts, Bernice Malone of Mobile, AL, Shirley Finley and Doris Brooks both of Lafayette, AL; sister-in-law, Johnnie Mae Sutton of Lafayette, AL; very special bonus sister/cousin/caretaker, Dennie Mae Brooks of Lafayette, AL; very special bonus brother, Mac Thurston, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
