Mr. Nelson Smith, Jr., 73 passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 1:00 PM CST until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel, Lafayette, AL.

Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, 1:00 PM CST at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Lafayette, AL. Reverend Douglas Jones, Sr., Officiating/Eulogist.

He leaves to cherish his memories: four children, Shalandra (Paul) Whitfield of Phenix City, AL, Johnetta (Will) Smith of Seale, AL, Thomas Smith of Opelika, AL, and Terrance Smith of Dadeville, AL; five grandchildren, Travis Smith, Kendarius Malone, Meori Smith, Tyjah Owens, and Terrion Owens; two siblings, Peggy (Johnny) Pullium and Johnny Henderson both of Lafayette, AL; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
