Mr. Paul L. Drake, 55 of Roanoke, AL passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Roanoke Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Roanoke, AL.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 12:00PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, 1:00 PM CST at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Roanoke (Welch Community), AL, Pastor Calvin Trammell, Eulogist, Reverend Kelsey Barnes, Officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, eight sisters: Betty (Hubert) Patterson, of Roanoke, AL, Annette Watts of Roanoke, AL, Maggie (George) James, of Five Points, AL, Elizabeth (Larry) Finley, of Wadley, AL, Gertrude Adamson, of Roanoke, AL, Phyllis (George) Henry of Clarksville, TN, Paula (Jacob) Allen of Ford, NJ, and Beverly (David) Sutton of Fraser, MI, three brothers, Vandy (Karen) Drake of Clarksville, TN, Allen (Helen) Higgins of Roanoke, AL, and Patrick (Amy) Higgins of LaGrange, GA, one sister-in-law, Margaret Higgins of Temple, GA, a special aunt, Annette Oliver of Five Points, AL, a special cousin, Francie Drake of Birmingham, AL, and a special friend, Ms. Peay of Roanoke, AL, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other loving friends.
