Mr. Peter Shealey, 78 of Lanett, AL passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at EAMC-Lanier Hospital in Valley, AL.

Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023, 11:00 AM CST at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Michael Stiggers, Officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Baptist Church Cemetery in Lanett.

Mr. Shealey is survived by his children: Margaret (Johnny Spence) of Lanett AL, Peter T. Shealey (Angela Glaze) of Lanett  AL, Rev. Anthony (Candy) Shealey Sr. of LaGrange, GA, and Neva (Samuel) Madden of Lanett AL, three siblings: Catherine Stiggers of West Point GA, Arthur Shealey of LaFayette, AL, and Hazel Scott of LaFayette, AL, seven grandchildren: Marquitta (Amos) Archie of Lawrenceville, GA, Shamia Shealey, Martina Robinson, Anthony Shealey Jr., Jasmine Barnes, Natavious Shealey, Jada Shealey, nine great-grandchildren: Destiny McGhee, Torina Hightower, Kash Pruitt, Tate Pruitt, Jakayla Barnes, Joshua Hutchinson, Ariel Hutchinson, Braylon Hutchinson, Conner Hutchinson, one great great-grandchild, Ayce Hightower, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
