Mr. Ronnie Brooks, 66 of Valley, AL passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

Public Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Mr. Brooks will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, 2:00 PM EST at Zion Rest Baptist Church-Heard Center, in Valley, AL, Rev. Frederick Stanley, Pastor / Officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ronnie leaves to cherish his memories, three sisters, Carrie M. Brooks of Lanett, AL, Marilyn D. Winsley of Opelika, AL, and Belinda A. Brooks of Opelika, AL, one brother, Curtis D. Brooks of Montgomery, AL; a sister-in-law, Nadine Brooks, nieces, ShiBritney Mathis, Shantia Winsley, Kayla, Chassity, Poo, Sherwanna Brooks; nephews, Jemario, Ta’Keo, Galvin, Terrance, Jeremy, Eric and Derrick, special friend of 40 years, Linda Jackson, two of his big sisters, Beverly Martin of Opelika, AL and Kathy Thomas of Valley, AL, his Langdale crew: Winslow Tucker, Gary Heard, Dwayne Jennings, Billy Lyons, Danny and Christy Walker, Rickey Meadows and Randy Johnson, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
