Mr. Sammie Lee Wilkerson

Mr. Sammie Lee Wilkerson, 61 of Camp Hill, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. CST at Lockhart Cemetery in Dadeville, Alabama, Rev. Justin Freeman, Officiating.

Public Visitation for Mr. Wilkerson will be on Friday, August 20, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. CST, at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, Alabama.

Mr. Wilkerson’s memories will be forever cherished by his mother, Mattie Mae Wilkerson of Camp Hill, Alabama; his children: Samuel (Tammie) Allen of Auburn, Alabama, Annette Allen, Shelia Allen and Daryl Allen, all of Camp Hill, Alabama; eleven brothers: Aaron Wilkerson, Anthony Wilkerson, Marshall Wilkerson, Maurice (Carolyn) Wilkerson, Clifford (Tracy) Wilkerson, and Benji (Veronica) Finley, all of Camp Hill, Alabama, Ricky (Connie) Wilkerson of Harpersville, Alabama, Sander Lewis Brooks, Calvin (Vanessa) Brooks, and Desmond (Shaneka) Brooks, all of LaFayette, Alabama, and Tracy (Bridgette) Brooks of Alexander City, Alabama; two sisters, Beverly Finley of Camp Hill, Alabama and Rebbeca B. Lockhart of LaFayette, Alabama; five special grandchildren: Latonya Allen of Camp Hill, Alabama, Shundretta Allen and Cassandra Allen both of Dadeville, Alabama, Lashandra Allen of Opelika, Alabama and Antreal Allen of Rome, Georgia; another twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; special caregivers, Rosie Lee Tolbert and Lakenjia Black (known as Sally); three aunts: Lillie B. Wilkerson and Francis Wilkerson, both of Birmingham, Alabama, and Bobbie (Will) Ponds of Kentucky; two special fishing partners, Minnie and Joann Black, both of Camp Hill, Alabama; two special cousins/friends, Kenny Holloway and Jerome Wilkerson, both of Camp Hill, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
