Mr. Tasmin Harris, 45 of Atlanta, GA, formerly of Lanett, AL passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024.
Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.
Mr. Harris will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, 11:00 a.m. CST at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Dr. Melvin Owens, Pastor, Officiating.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett, AL.
Mr. Harris is survived by his parents: Joann Goodwin and Billy Jackson of Lanett, AL; two sisters: Evelyn Towns of Riverdale, GA and Turneqois “Ta” Williams of Atlanta, GA; four uncles: Jerome Harris (Thelma) of Five Points, AL; Jessie Harris (Charlotte) of LaFayette, AL; Jimmy (Lisa) Jackson and Lebroughn (Tony) Jackson, both of Atlanta, GA; two aunts: Deborah (Reginald) Johnson and Geneva J. Webb, both of LaFayette, AL; great-aunts: Madlene Shealey, Annie Goff, and Lula Harris, great-uncles, Eddie Barrow, Jr. and Jeffrey (Carolyn) Barrow, godmothers: Estella Arrington, Ollie Lewis, Mary A. Wright, Lisa Allen, Cynthia Wilson, Betty Martin, Linda Hicks, Chris Brown, Jennifer Harris, Shirley Winston and Patsy (Curtis) Lewis; godchildren: Amber Williams, Bobby Moore, Jr., Tairrique Baker, Quendasia Baker, Jazzamise Baker, and Ava Kimbro; special cousins: Brontavis Brooks, Crystal Miller, Jessica P. Allen, Jolanda Barnes, Travia Edwards, Yogi Lewis and Denise McClain; special friends: Kendall Harley, Frederick Waller, Steven McDonnell, Rick Fears, Natasha Brooks, Jayda Changar, Jason Weaver, Timothy Mingo, Jason John, Coach Martin Mann, Coach Dixon, Rita Rowland, and Theresa and Bobby Moore, Sr.; and a host of other close relatives and friends.
