Mr. Thomas Clifton Moody

Mr. Thomas C. Moody, 64 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL. 

Mr. Moody will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral services.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, 2:00 p.m. CST at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Five Points, AL, Pastor William Jerome Trammell | Officiating.

Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Cemetery in LaFayette, AL.

Mr. Moody leaves to cherish his precious memories, his son, Carlos (Candice) Vines and his daughter, Courtney Winston, both of LaFayette, AL, his brothers, Amos Lamar (Mary) Moody of Lanett, AL, Clarence (Angie) Moody of Lanett, AL, Charlie Edwards Moody of Ellenwood, GA, his sisters, Lorine Calhoun of Five Points, AL, Nancy Joan Trammell of Five Points, AL, and Emma Jean (Romeo) McClarry of Maryland, his grandchildren, Kenyon Vines, Jacob Shephard, Tomekeo Lockhart, Jr., Te’Nija Vines, C’Niyah Stevens and Cierra Vines, special niece, Anita Quinnell Moody, special cousin, Velma Clifton Kendrick, special friend, Eartha Moody, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
