Mr. Tomie Hardnett, 66 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.

Public Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2023, 10:00 a.m. CST at Essie J. Handy Cemetery in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Christopher Hardnett, Officiating.

Mr. Hardnett is survived by a special nephew, Ray (Lalita) Hardnett, of LaFayette, AL, devoted sister, Shirley Whitlow, of LaFayette, AL, two brothers, Clyde (Doris) Hardnett, of LaFayette, AL, and Jack Hardnett of Tuskegee, AL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
