Mr. Tommy Young, Jr. 82 of Dadeville, AL passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL.

Public Visitation will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. CST until 5:00 p.m. CST, at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Funeral Services will be Friday, July 22, 2022, 2:00 p.m. CST, at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church in Jacksons Gap, AL, Rev. Quinderus Jones, Pastor, Rev. William Perry, Jr., Eulogist.

Burial will follow at Old Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Jacksons Gap, AL.

Mr. Young leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Roxann (Rev. Mark) Rogers of Dadeville, AL; four sons, Robert Young, Thomas Young, both of Dadeville, AL, Gary Young of Huntington, WV, and Demont (Bianca) Young of Lineville, AL; two step children, Darlene Russell of Birmingham, AL and Alfred Threat of Dadeville, AL; two sisters, Shirley Ann Crayton (Jeff) and Clemmie Mae Johnson both of Alexander City, AL; three brothers, R.M.Crayton, James Crayton, both of Alexander City, AL, and Eldger Crayton of Auburn, AL; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends whom he loved dearly.
