Mr. Walter B. Ratchford, 67 of Lafayette, AL passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024.

Public Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 2:00 PM CST until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel, Lafayette, AL.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, 1:00 PM CST at New Mt. Sellers Baptist Church, Lafayette, AL. Pastor Terry L. Magby, Officiating

Interment will follow in church cemetery following funeral service.

He is survived by his two sisters, Elizabeth (Walter) Abner and Helen Brewer both of Lafayette, AL; two nieces, Yolanda (Keith) Wilkerson of Birmingham, AL and Latoya (Reverend Jonah) Williams of Muscle Shoals, AL; two nephews, Anthony (Lawanda) Ratchford of Atlanta, GA and Derrick Thomas of Lafayette, AL; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
