Mr. Willie “Ed” Dawson, 75 of Camp Hill, AL passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City, AL.

Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022, 12 Noon CST at New Harmony Baptist Church in Camp Hill, AL, Pastor Melvin Kelley, Officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Dawson is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Dawson of Camp Hill, AL, his daughter, Casandra Ann Threat, his sons, Darryl (Jocelyn) Dawson and Alvin Jerome (Ruth) Reeder, grandchildren: Eboni Threat, Chelsea Tolbert, Anthony Reeder, Shawn Michael (D’Angelo) Chapman, Patrice Chapman, Aerial Dawson, and Amber Dawson, seven great-grandchildren, his sister, Shirley Frazier, step-brother, Jimmy Stroud, brothers-in-law, Lorenza (Mary) Holcey, Eddie (Brenda) Holcey, sister-in-law, Artelia Smith, devoted best friend, Pintes Beals and devoted neighborly friends, Rodney and Shirley Taylor, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
