Mr. Willie James Johnson 83 of Dadeville, AL passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City, AL.

Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, form 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Mr. Johnson will lie in state at the church one-hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, 9:00 a.m. CST at Mt. Lovely Baptist Church in Camp Hill, AL; Pastor Bernard Harris, Officiating.

Burial will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, AL at 11:30 a.m. CST.

Willie James Johnson leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and generosity to his children, Dexter Miles Johnson of Harrison, OH, Devree Michelle Lue of Virginia Beach, VA, and Charese Renee Cokes of Ashland, VA, his grandchildren, Brittany Lue, Taylor Cokes, and Brandon Cokes, one great-grandchild, Zya Johnson, nieces, Carolyn Perry and April Nix, and a host of cousins and friends.
