Mr. Willie C. Ponds, 77 of Dadeville, AL passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019, 12 Noon CST at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Waverly, AL, Rev. Corey Huguley, Sr. Pastor; Officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Ponds is survived by eleven children: Brenda (Daryl) Cobb, Crystella (Edward) Shepard, Lisa Stark, Angele Ponds, Patricia Ponds, all of Opelika, AL, Willie C. Ponds, Jr. and Carolyn Alvies both of Dadeville, AL, Stephanie Hughley of Camp Hill, AL, John Greer of Atlanta, GA, Johnny Hughley and Sylvester Hughley both of Auburn, AL, three brother, Walter (Essie) Ponds, Robert(Annie) Ponds both of Camp Hill, AL and William Ponds of Dadeville, AL, three sisters, Nancy (Allen) Leonard, Bessie Heard and Betty Ponds, all of Camp Hill, AL, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, special friend, Eva Alvies, a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
