Mr. Willie G. “Paul” Avery, 67 of Lanett, AL passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 2:00PM CST until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel, Lafayette, AL.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, 2:00 PM CST at Silmon – Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel, Lafayette, AL. Reverend Charles Trammell, Officiating/Eulogist
Interment will follow in Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memories: five children, Lasher Sims (Marcus) of Lafayette AL, Lamichael Dawson (Jasmine Durham), LaCourtney Dawson (Kinney) and LaJasmine Dawson all of Lanett, AL, and Anthony Williams (Ashla) of Lafayette AL, one daughter-in-law, Armiee Dawson; seven brothers, Charles Avery, Mark Avery, Robert Avery (Ruby), Cordell Avery, Larry Avery (Donyell), Matthew Avery, and Jerome Avery all of Lafayette AL, one sister, Mary Avery; thirteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, two special nieces, Krister and Monique Avery both of Valley, AL; a special nephew, Jayden Ferrell of Lanett, AL, two best friends, Christopher Wright of Lafayette AL and Anita Dawson of Lanett AL; a very special friend, Ulamae Smith of Lanett AL, and a host of nieces , nephews, other relatives, and friends whom he loved dearly.
