Mrs. Ada Francis White "Tenchie"

Mrs. Ada F. White “Tenchie” 79, of LaFayette, AL passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Mrs. White will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, 12:00 p.m. CST at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in LaFayette, Rev. Michael Stiggers, Pastor, Rev. George Rampey, Eulogist.

Burial will follow in Finley Cemetery in LaFayette, AL.

Mrs. White leaves cherished memories with one son, Phillip White, III and two daughters, Faye (James) Abner and May (Julian) Magby, all of LaFayette, AL, two bonus sons, Connecticut Holloway, Jr. of Atlanta, GA and Emerson (Genise) Williams of LaFayette, AL, one sister, Susie B. Huguley of LaFayette, AL, one brother-in-law, Frank James Presley of Penton, AL, two sisters-in-law, Esther Williams of Lanett, AL and Elizabeth Carwell Holloway of LaFayette, AL, 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, special nieces, Betty Hill of Tuscaloosa, AL and Debra (Charles) Lacatra of Southern California (Ventura County), special daughter-in-love, Lela Patten, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
