Mrs. Alesia “Lisa” Lorraine Oliver McFarlin, 57 of Roanoke, AL passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Tanner Medical Center in Wedowee, Alabama.
Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021, 1:00 p.m. CST at Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery in Roanoke, AL, Pastor Calvin Trammell, Officiating
Alesia is survived by her two daughters, Raven D’Janeen McFarlin of Auburn, AL and Kawanna McFarlin (Terry) Tucker of Five Points, AL; her sister Robin Oliver (Felix) Bell of Roanoke, AL; adopted brother Dennis Baker of Roanoke, AL; her granddaughter A’Neilya McFarlin of Five Points, AL; two nephews Felix (Mary) O’Neal of Wedowee, AL and Jason (Tiffany) Bell of Auburn, AL; one aunt Annette Oliver, of Welch, AL; her God son Jaxon Ryan Lovette of Roanoke, AL; and the Lovette family, Shannon (Fred), Ebony, and Jailee. She also leaves behind a host of special cousins who were like sisters, her “children” who she took under her wing, her church family, and many dear friends.
Alesia was the definition of a good person with a genuine soul, and we were blessed to encounter her in this lifetime. We will cherish the memories we have of her and the love she bestowed upon us all.
