Mrs. Annie Ferrell-Peterson (Annie Jean), 64, of Lafayette, AL passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette, AL.

Mrs. Peterson will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, 1:00 p.m. CST at New Mt. Sellers Baptist Church in Lafayette, AL, Pastor Terry Magby, Officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Peterson is survived by her husband of 14 years, Randy Peterson, her step-children, Annette (Steven) Parmley of Davenport, FL, Latoya (Wilbert) Gordy of Nashville, TN, Shevonne Pruitt, Hornlake, MS, Demetrius Peterson and Edmund Peterson, both of East Chicago, IN, Dorian (Takesha) Peterson of Hammond, IN, Edward Peterson of Shelbyville, TN, Renita (Billy) Baldon of Southaven, MS, one sister, Alma (Cedric) Ingram of Lafayette, AL, sisters-in-law, Karen Ferrell of Lafayette, AL, Darnell Williams of East Chicago, IN, Juanita (Leon) Evans of Indianapolis, IN, brothers-in-law, Harold (Joyce) Peterson of Wichita, KS, Donald Peterson and Jeffrey Peterson of Eash Chicago, IN, a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
