Mrs. Barbara D. Hart Smith "Niecy"

Mrs. Barbara "Niecy" Hart Smith, 61 of Montgomery, AL passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

Public Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 3:00 PM CST until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Mrs. Smith will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025, 1:00 PM CST at New Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Dadeville, AL, Pastor Richard D. Jacobs | Officiating.

Mrs. Smith leaves cherished memories with her, husband, Willie James Smith, Jr.; daughter Tanish "Nikki" Nunn (fiancé William Todd);  grandchildren: De’Marion, Madison, Triston and Tyson; 1 great-grandchild, De’Yair; mother-in-love, Frances Mae Smith; sisters, Marie (Sanders) “Goot” Cox and Helen “Danny” Wideman; sisters-in-love, Barbara Ann Smith and Theresa Diana Smith Buck; brothers, Nathaniel (Janet) Hart and Ernest Lee Hart; brothers-in-love, Darryl (Suzanne) Smith and Frederick Smith; nieces: Marteka, Lucinda, Benesa, Shareka (Brian), Yolinda (Marcus), Lanesha, Monae, Monique, Jennifer (Christopher), Melisa, Marrisa, Carmen, Tanika “Nikki”, Ta’Nyah; nephews: Ronnie “Slugger”, Sherman, Carlos, Jemol (Melna), Otis “Peter”, Savoli, Ernest Lee, Jr “JR”, Nathaniel (Crystal) “Junior”; a host of great nieces, great-great nieces, great nephews, great-great nephews and friends.
