Mrs. Betty Jo "Bet" Gorman

Mrs. Betty Jo Gorman, 87 of Birmingham, AL passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Mrs. Gorman will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, 12:00 PM CST at Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church in Camp Hill, AL, Pastor Elder Gregory Brown, Eulogist; Bishop Gary Archie, Officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Gorman leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Willie Ruth Jones, Cynthia Spivey and Karen Gorman; grandchildren: Maurice Gorman, Marsha Gorman, Tonya Gorman, Candice Walker and Kelvin Jones; twelve great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, one sister, Kumye Adams, a special son-in-law, Maurice Owens, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
