Mrs. Frances Griffin, 83 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.
Public Visitation will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.
Mrs. Griffin will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, 2:00 p.m. CST at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Michael T. Stiggers, Pastor, Officiating, Rev. Shandor Calloway, Eulogist.
Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Cemetery in LaFayette, AL.
Mrs. Griffin leaves cherished memories with three daughters, Deborah Griffin, Valerie Griffin (Rick), and LaKisha Griffin, all of LaFayette, AL, two sons, Marshall Williams of LaFayette, AL, and Russell (Bobbie) Williams of LaGrange, GA, daughter-in-law, Daphne Holloway of Smyrna, GA, eleven grandchildren: Tiffany Griffin (Michael), Sidney Floyd, Willis Keon Holloway, Malcolm Williams, Rick Martin, Jr., Dominique Williams, Akeila Holloway, Prentis Williams, Ashanti Williams, and Reighna Williams, eight great-grandchildren: DaNasia Thomas, Maurkenzia Brooks, TaLeah and TaLyn Floyd, Jace and Sophia Williams, Malcolm, Jr. and Leon Williams, five sisters-in-law, Annie Hughley, Albertha Holloway, Patricia Holloway, Annie Bell Griffin and Mildred (Alford) Ray, a special niece, Angela Goodman, two special nephews, Major Vines and Russell Goodman, a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
